Assalamlaykum..i love all the wallpapers. i'm new renewed muslim only last jan.2012. i embrace Islam because i found the peace in my heart thru our Merciful God, Allah the worshipper.i only know some arabic words. What is SubhanAllah and MashaAllah. I know how to recite the Al Fatiha in Arabic.I am not yet wearing the Abaya. Do i need to wear it even if i'm at home. please educate me more please...
Walaikum Salam Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu. May Allah give you abundant good in this life and the hereafter my dear sister in Islam. Dear sister now for your questions regarding the abaya, no you need not cover yourself when your at home,women have to cover their awrah in front of non mahram even when at home, and awrah of a woman is her whole body except her hands upto the wrist and face so you need not cover this in front of non mahram
And who all are mahram for you is given in this ayah [As its given in the Quran in Surah Nur ayah 31 And tell the believing women to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts and not expose their adornment except that which [necessarily] appears thereof and to wrap [a portion of] their headcovers over their chests and not expose their adornment except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands' fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers, their brothers' sons, their sisters' sons, their women, that which their right hands possess, or those male attendants having no physical desire, or children who are not yet aware of the private aspects of women. And let them not stamp their feet to make known what they conceal of their adornment. And turn to Allah in repentance, all of you, O believers, that you might succeed.]
